In this supplement, the use of standardized nutraceuticals for treating hair loss – including curcumin, ashwagandha, saw palmetto, tocotrienols/tocopherols, piperine and marine collagen is described. The nutraceuticals were selected because of their diverse biologic activities against triggers of hair loss, such as inflammation, dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels, stress mediators, oxidative damage and intermediary signalling cascades. These nutraceuticals are bio-optimized and standardized, and are found in Nutrafol’s Synergen Complex.

Finally, the supplement presents four case studies of subjects treated with Nutrafol Women (n = 3) and Nutrafol Men (n = 1) as monotherapy. Clinical improvement was observed in all cases, alongside a high degree of patient satisfaction and a favorable safety profile.
